I Hate Weddings

Brief recap of day: Woke up to fourth day of unceasing back pain. Before arrival at work, back pain was accompanied by fat tongue and twitchy eye.

Morning included spilling large cup of decaf coffee all over desk, in front of several co-workers.

Afternoon consisted of inadvertently knocking Senior Counsel’s printer off stand while changing cartridge. Did I mention she was standing right there? Proceeded to break rib while trying to get the damn thing back on its stand. Limped around for extended period of time, debating whether or not to call ambulance.

But w
ait, it gets better...

Stormed out of work, five minutes early, only to stub toe and fall face first, to the ground, in lobby of building, (in front of god knows how many people). Continued to car, teary eyed, with chest pain and buzzing in ears.

All because of this damn wedding!

I can pull my back out by picking up a towel off the floor, if I do it just right.(wrong) The back thing will run its course, you will probably be feeling better in a few days. Alternate between the hot water bottle and an ice pack.

I hate weddings too, not the ceremony-and I am happy for the couple, etc, but sitting at a table trying to make small talk with people you don't know is painful.....I can relate! Maybe you can ask if you can take along a friend to sit with you?

I suffer from a lot of back pain due to a car accident when I was a child. When it happened I was in pain for a while but after I healed I had very little trouble until I was 15 and my muscles started to develop, I started getting a lot of lower back pain and have suffered with it ever since. That is until recently when I stumbled across memory foam mattresses. They adjust to the shape and weight of my body to support my back perfectly and let me sleep soundly. I can’t even imagine being able to sleep without my memory foam mattress anymore!
